- Analysis Description
- The Regolith X-ray Imaging Spectrometer (REXIS) instrument is one of the five payload instruments on the OSIRIS-Rex asteroid sample return mission. The REXIS instrument consists of two assemblies: the spectrometer and the solar X-ray monitor (SXM).
Two thermal models of the spectrometer were created in Thermal Desktop: reduced model with fewer than 100 nodes, and the detailed model with more than 2000 nodes.
For the SXM, one thermal model was created in Thermal Desktop with approximately 100 nodes.
